Hedler HMI-Belysning Profilux DF 15 with Fresnel Lens

The focusable daylight unit HEDLER DF15 with a colour temperature of approx. 5600 K for digital photography and video. Based on the HEDLER DX15, new and even more versatile: the HEDLER DF15.

Extremely compact, lightweight (approx. 2900g), robust and with a built-in electronic ballast it suits perfectly for digital photography and for DV.

Especially designed for DV with original sound recording it is fanless - no fan, no fan-caused noise! Beyond that it offers through the use of a Fresnel lens and an intuitively usable focusing option great lighting flexibility: it can be set from spot to flood lighting position by simply turning a knob on the backside of the housing.

The light beams diameter can be adjusted steplessly - perfect, if you want to emphasize a person or an object within your frame and you do not want to move around the light unit.

More flexibility? Completely integrated into the Hedler reflector range, all the latest Hedler softboxes, reflectors and reflex umbrellas can be attached.

Means: a wide variety of different lighting moods can be created by attaching one of the optional available, original Hedler light modifiers. Ideal for product and portrait photography as well as for Digital Video.

Another pro - the HEDLER DF15s highly efficient bulb produces a continuous light output power that equates to a 650 Watts standard Tungsten halogen bulb (at a power consumption of 150 Watts). It produces a colour temperature of approx. 5600 K and the bulb has an average lifetime of approx. 6000 (!) hours.

The HEDLER DF15 shows a relatively low temperature (compared to a traditional Tungsten halogen bulb). Perfect if heat sensitive materials have to be photographed/filmed. Because of its robust housing and bulb the HEDLER DF15 suits perfectly for Studio and on location work - even under rough working conditions.

• Spot lighting position: approx. f-stop 11 ≈ 1000 W standard Tungsten halogen bulb light out put power
• Flood light position: approx. f-stop 4 3/10 ≈ 650 W standard Tungsten halogen bulb light out put power at a distance of 2m, camera set to ISO 320, shutter speed 1/60 sec
