Rapid Flag Kit

The Rapid Flag Kits are available in two sizes; 45cm x 60cm and 60cm x 91cm (Sold Separately). Each kit comprises of 2x Rapid Flag RapidExoframes™, 2x Grip Head Mounting Pins, 4x interchangeable textile covers including: 1x Single Scrim (0.6 stops), 1x Double Scrim (1.3 stops), 1x Artificial Silk (1.6 f-stops), 1x Solid Black Duvetyne Cover and 1x Compact Carry Case. All covers feature an open edge, perfect for gentle feathered lighting effects using the scrims and silk, with no harsh shadow created by the frame.

Changing to an alternative textile couldn’t be easier, just unclip and slide off the attached flag or scrim with ease and then attach another directly onto the frame, no time-consuming assembly required. With two frames and four textiles supplied in every kit, there are many combinations at hand for ultimate creativity. 
The cleverly designed RapidExoFrame™ construction allows the frame to breakdown into small multiple sections and together with the included covers, packs neatly into the included compact carry case measuring only 42 x 20 x 10cm and weighing only 1.9 kg for the 45 x 60 cm and 2.2 kg for the 60 x 91 cm  

The rigid cases’ internal compartments ensure everything is kept securely in place ready for the next shoot, aiding a fast set up time and improving workflow. 

Seamless transition between shielded light and direct light

The upper edge of the scrim fabric has no seam or metal frame at the top, which makes the transition between shadowed light and direct light soft without harsh shadow. Make the lighting simple and disturbing highlights in the subject can be neatly and effectively conjured away.

Double frames are included in the kit

The Manfrotto Rapid Flag Kit comes with two aluminum frames, which means that you can shield the light on one part of the subject and at the same time dim the light on another part of the subject.

Colorama Translum is easy to work with because the material can be quickly cut to the desired size and shaped as desired. On roll, the size 1.54x5.4 meters is available in two different densities, -1.5 f-stop or -0.75 f-stop. The size 1.37x5.4 meters is available with a density of -2 f-stops. Colorama Translum is also available in the 30x30 cm package with a total of 6 sheets, 2 pcs -2 aperture stops, 2 pcs -1.5 aperture stops and 2 pcs -0.75 aperture stops. Of course, several layers of Colorama Translum can be used simultaneously to achieve different densities.

Manfrotto HaloCompact Diffusor 82 cm, 2 f-stop. Manfrotto HaloCompact Diffuser is a completely new, patent pending design concept that makes the everyday reflector and diffuser panel even more portable than ever! Unlike many traditional reflector/diffuser panels that incorporate a steel rim pop up design, the 82cm (32”) HaloCompact is constructed using Manfrotto’s new innovative RapidExoframe™ technology. The collapsible lightweight aluminium frame quickly slots together and the reflector or diffuser fabric cover simply clips onto the frame. The cleverly designed RapidExoframe™ construction allows the frame to breakdown into small multiple sections and along with the folded fabric packs into a carry case measuring only 6.5 x 27 x 6.5cm weighing only 390g (HaloCompactReflector and case).
